Dear Delta Member,
As you may know, Delta Waterfowl followed with great interest, proposed management changes at Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge a number of years ago. Early on in the process, Delta and a number of other stakeholders had serious concerns about some of the proposals and their implications for waterfowl and waterfowl habitat, but much to the credit of the USFWS staff, those concerns were promptly addressed.
Currently, the Refuge is soliciting public feedback about the new proposed hunting plan. As a duck hunter and key stakeholder in the outcome of the plan, we wanted to share the information with you.
Here are a couple of key points:
•Existing goose hunting areas will be opened to all waterfowl hunting, this now means increased duck hunting opportunities on the refuge
•The current acreage open to hunting is similar as it has been in the past
•The refuge is considering draw options to manage hunting pressure and provide high quality hunting opportunities

So I should be against it or for it. Just wanting to know Mr Lemming leader how I should vote. I don't hunt in MO much anymore if at all. Although we are looking at a private place to buy near The Pass/FG area.
